  19. The question was is Lee Daniels over the top with Empire and everybody immediately went in on Gabe(or whatever her name is). Black women (women period) come in all shapes, sized and color. There have beem plenty of big white and Latina girls in love scenes and nothing is said. Why do black people hate so much on each other? We are we the only race of people that degrades itself (especially in our music)….WHY? I applaud her and Lee for taking a chance and to answer the question, YES he is over the top and not just because of this scene on last weeks show but because of a series of things that he does on that show. He knew that scene would create a buzz and that is exactly what everybody is talking about! It all about the benjamins.

This is an actual woman we are talking about, she isn’t just some fictional character. Because she chooses to keep her weight for whatever reasons does not mean we should scorn or ridicule.   20. Everyone who has commented against this is a horrible horrible person. Television should be representative of a kinds of love and all kinds of lifestyle in the most honest light. There was nothing over the top about this scene, in fact it was the least dramatic scene of the series.
    People are acting like they don’t see their Fluffy aunties and mothers didn’t have sex lives.

      2. Thank you for being so close-minded you think that the only way I could be against the horrible things people have been saying is if I am morbidly obese. I weigh nothing near 300 pounds, and no your rhetorical question was not funny, I didn’t chuckle.
        The comments on a blog shouldn’t cyber bully. A blog should have debates and differences of opinion but the comments shouldn’t bully.
