“Conversations Of A Sistah” kicks off “Women’s History Month” with our special guest tonight, Dr. Ethelene Whitmire (pictured above), Associate Professor with the Department of Afro-American Studies of Gender & Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison – School of Library & Information Studies.

A former Librarian at Yale University, Dr. Whitmire received her B.A. and Master’s of Library Service from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and her PhD from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Her new biography, Regina Anderson Andrews, Harlem Renaissance Librarian was recently awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Publishing Citation from the Black Caucus of the American Library Association.

Join me tonight at 6:30 pm on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via Blog Talk Radio as I discuss with Dr. Whitmire her great contribution to the history of African American women in this twenty first century.
