Blog talk radio, Conversations Of A Sistah, Show guests, Tracy L. Bell - Blog Talk Radio, Year in Review

As we sign off for the year…We’ll take a look at my year in Review, Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

year in review 2014

It’s that time of the year again, when “Conversations Of A Sistah” will review our hottest shows and in-depth “Conversations” of 2014. We’ve had some really great guest and hot topics this year and we need to review them all.

Our guest had great stories to share as well as their successes and accomplishments but how can we say or even decide “What specific show or guest was the best?” My staff and I couldn’t narrow it down, therefore we’re leaving it up to you, my loyal readers and listeners to resolve.

To jog your memory, our guest of 2014 went in this order of appearance:

  1. David Myers aka Guttamane “My Dreams Big”
  2. Ms. Karen Tucker, Author of the children’s book “Brown Little Me”
  3. RoseMarie Ranuro, owner and operator of “Biggie’s Clam Bar”
  4. Centino Kemp, Author of First Lady, the 5th accuser in the Eddie Long scandal
  5. Marshall Grier, Author of the book, “In the Rearview, My Life Not Yours”
  6. Mr. Luke Ahearn, animated and author of creative fiction
  7. Alissa Cavallaro, 15 year old R&B SINGER, SONG WRITER AND MUSCIAN
  8. Mike Ramaglia. Political Leader & Passaic County leader for NJ Governor Chris Christie’s campaign
  9. Ms. Michi Egger, guitarist, a singer and a songwriter
  10. Mr. Valery DeGrain, lyrical rap artist
  11. Ms. Selena Haskins, Author of “A river moves forward”
  12. Chef Mamie Gailes, Owner and Proprietor of “Mama’s With A Spoon”
  13. Mr. John Traier, Chief Principal of John M. Traier & Associates, LLC
  14. Bishop Donald Hilliard, Senior Pastor of Cathedral International in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
  15. Ms. Von Decarlo, from TV1’s “According to him or her”
  16. Mr. Hassan Barrow, KYD Works, rap artist and apart of the “Don’t Shoot” Campaign against gun violence.

  1. Damn this is hard.
But as I look at the pics of everybody I’m remembering the show. I thought Krispie Creme’s campaign manager was a good show. The coach, Mama’s with a spoon and Guttamane Hell I can’t decide.

      1. Good morning all.
I think we tend to remember the last shows of the year more than the shows from the beginning of the year….and with this whole protest thing going on from the killings of black men we tend to navigate to the shows that have had the most impact on what is happening now.

It’s been a great year with Ms. Bell and “Conversations Of A Sistah” going on its own.
I guess I enjoyed KYD Works and Dr. Osborne’s take on black on black crime as well as Bishop Hilliard and the state of the black man! These were some serious show topics. Therefore I guess my choices would be: #14 #16 and #17
