Comedian Bill Cosby, has responded to reports that her husband is a serial rapist.

Mrs. Cosby released a statement to the media yesterday affirming her marital vows to stand by her husband.

Mrs. Cosby spoke out for the first time about allegations that Bill Cosby, 77, drugged and raped numerous women, including former supermodels Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson decades ago.

“He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man,” Mrs. Cosby said in a statement first reported by CBS. “A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know.”

Many of the allegations against Bill Cosby are hearsay: their word against his. No criminal charges have been brought against him, and no evidence supports the women’s outrageous claims.

Mrs. Cosby compared the allegations against her husband to a Rolling Stone article written by a U.Va. rape accuser. The woman’s story is now in doubt because it contains factual errors and fabricated facts.

“None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim,” Mrs. Cosby wrote. “But the question should be asked — who is the victim?”

The Cosby’s celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January.

      1. I read that he acknowledged it in the form of paying for her schooling and occasional phone calls but he would never acknowledge her as his daughter in public and she was not allowed to call him dad.

  22. If it was only one women or two women who said that Bill Cosby drugged and raped them, I don’t know if I would believe them, but 26 women???! Why would 26 women make up that story? They aren’t receiving any money. Things were different in the 1970s or 1980s, and I can see why they didn’t feel that they could come forward and tell their story. 😦

  26. IF this is true, men who are a lot more famous than Mr. Cosby have done a lot worst and nobody takes away from their achievements. I will forever love The Cosby Show and A Different World. I will buy them all on DVD if I have to.

        He talked abour it a little bit. They had the funeral in a barn or farm (for privacy) and they formed a circle. Each link in the circle said something about Ennis between laughing and crying. When it first happened, he also made a statement.
        I believe he may have internalized the grief or made peace with it.
