What do children know about being gay? Yet it seems to be behavior that their exposed to in the home and in the lifestyles of their parents (s) and/or family members. But this is not a choice that children are aware of choosing.

However gender identity appears to be established and influenced by psychosocial factors during the first few years of a child’s life. Theories and psychologist outlined that for some adults who have gender identity disorder which leads to a homosexual or lesbian lifestyle, usually apply this behavior to their children.

It seems as though children are being recruited into a homosexual lifestyle, because a homosexual lifestyle is not genetic but inherited. Parents are easily the most important external force in the life of any child and, as would be suspected, contribute largely to the homosexual or heterosexual predisposition of their children.

As important as the father is in the life of a child, even he must take second place to mother during the first three years of life. The mother feeds the baby at her breast and spends far more time with him in infancy than does his dad. Consequently, mothers actually have more to do with producing a predisposition toward homosexuality than fathers.

  22. Gay advocates conveniently leave out the fact that gay people have heterosexual sex as well. Having sex is a choice whether you’re gay or str8. The act itself is a choice. I know a lot of lesbians with children. The idea that gays are born that way totally disregards the fact that we humans are born with reproductive organs.

Homosexuality has been around all of 4ever it’s just that back in the day gays had class and kept this shit private. private not downlow. men or women neva married and folk knowing they were gay whispered about it because it wasn’t proper or acceptable. but in today’s society they throw the shit up in ya face like it ain’t nothing 😡 and having kids just make their agenda more complete.

  30. Abuse, neglect, born addicted to substances, molested by usually a male in the family, or a family friend. Most of these kids had two parents in the home and they were from various backgrounds. Give a child two people who love them, regardless of orientation.

      This is very true and my point exactly. Its not if ur a str8 person or a gay person that make u a good parents. It is that you are a loving nurturing person who can make a difference in this kids life. Can u be there when they need u? Pick them up in the rain at the bus stop? Give them a future? change the diapers? Or be there for them 24/7?

  31. I have no issues with gay people but the reality is God made male and female counterparts for a reason. Homosexuality does occur naturally in nature however those animals don’t reproduce and/or rear children.

  34. It is really sad when a kid grows up and doesn’t have a mom or doesn’t have a dad. Having two of the same thing is still growing up without one of the other. It’s sad and it will never be as good as the real thing. Gay people will keep pushing the issue until they get their way but it will be at the expense of society. Next they will be pushing for animal marriage rights. Why can’t a man marry his goat if they really, really love each other?? Because it is unnatural affection and it is wrong. There will never be a substitute for a loving mom and loving dad who raise their child to adulthood…period.

  35. As a straight parent, Tra I ‘thank you’ for some awesome talking points. We live a state where gay marriage is legal, so my kids know that some boys marry boys and some girls marry girls, but they haven’t had too many detailed questions yet. Looking forward to your commentary on this subject tonite.

  36. Being a good parent has nothing to do with how/whom you chose to have sex with. However there some implications with gay parents. Parents influence is huge in children, especially in early years., so this will be interesting.

  39. A morally-confused child is more susceptible to evil and perversion than one who is confident in his knowledge of right and wrong. Evil-doers know this, and will thrive in a society that indoctrinates its children to see no inherent evil in disregarding Natural Laws. Alas, those who support same-sex marriage have apparently fallen too far into the depravity of tolerating licentiousness themselves to realize or acknowledge the harm and injustice same-sex marriage imposes upon our children and thus our society.

  40. Two mothers can never replace a father, and two fathers can never replace a mother. There is no need to debate this. It is downright cruel and unnatural to purposefully bring a child into this world by separating them from their mother AND father. A child isn’t an object of rights, he or she is a subject of rights.

    Gay people do not have a right to a child; rather, a child has a right to a mother and father. It is in the child and society’s best interest to ensure this natural relationship.

        A boy growing up looks at his father to teach him to act like a man. A girl growing up looks at her mother to teach her to be a woman. That is exactly what “a child needs in separate genders”. Yes, you can have a homosexual couple look up lots of info on the internet to later give to their child during adolescence, but the fact of the matter is that WE LEARN BY EXAMPLE. Behaviors are learned. How many times do you have kids copy their parents? All the time!

My nieces are already asking us about it and Tracy is right you need to be guided on how you explain to them in ways that they will/would understand without being confused. some conversations are NOT for young kids.

    I understand and sympathize with the desire for gay parents to have children. But isn’t it selfish to subject children to an atmosphere where they will not be sure of the affect it will have on their development?

    It’s unnatural to have 2 mothers or 2 fathers. God created the family unit as a father, a mother, and the children. I do agree though a child needs love, but the love of a mother is totally different from the love of a father. A child needs a balance of love from a father and a mother. I firmly believe children need a mother and a father, not 2 mothers or 2 fathers.

I’m sure that same-sex couples can be very loving, supportive and caring, but there’s something more that needs to be there. children of same sex couples are with two moms or two dads they won’t know what they have or what they’re missing. The mother and father roles are not clearly present or absent, so someone may not be able to fill either role for them in their lives and this is not only important but should be clearly aligned.
