Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

val dagrain

There are lyrical artist popping up everywhere and rushing this generation by displaying their style and lyrical talents with a passion. Many emulate while adding their own flare to their music, while others are just gifted to flow.

Some artist handle the microphone and audience like pro’s and this is what I discovered when I heard and witnessed Val DeGrain, a young artist who graced the stage at an open MIC event, I attended a couple of months ago.

Val just released his new CD “2 cents” on April 20, 2014.

Join me tonight at 8:00 PM on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via “Conversations Live” as we talk about Val’s lyrical inspirations and the wide use of the “N” word in SOME of his music.

All “Conversation Links” in this post make it possible to access the show.

See you on the air and don’t forget to sound off here!

      1. Good morning Fam.
        I thought he was cute, a little unsure of his direction but he tried to hang in there with Tra…..I enjoyed the show but Tra was diggin in that ass about the ‘n’ word 😛

      2. Good morning people. IMO it was like Tracy had to engage him too much about his career. he had no clear direction. Other than that i thought he was ok. just my 2cents.

  7. The kid has potential he just needs to decide what he’s going to do with it. He seemed very disengaged and a little too laid back and non-chalant. It was as if Tra had to pull teeth to get a direct answer. She should ninvite him back in like another 10 years or so.

  8. Good show, impressive young man but a little too premature for this audience. I wish him the best though.
