Chris Christie, Scandal, Super Bowl

They BOOED Him in Times Square

nfl-superbowl

New Jersey is hosting the big super bowl game tomorrow and it is only proper to invite New Jersey’s governor to be in the midst of the festivities but….he was BOOED when he was introduced in Times Square.

The once-immensely popular Christie, has lost his glow to scandal, as he sat stone-faced and was razzed in Times Square for a typically upbeat Super Bowl event.

“You made it across the bridge?” howled one heckler as the problem-plagued Christie — in a navy Windbreaker and black scarf — sat impassively on the stage at Broadway and W. 43rd St.

One day after allegations that a lying Chris Christie knew about the Bridgegate scandal as it happened, the governor sat uncomfortably in the spotlight on the eve of the Super Bowl.

Poor thing!

  1. Governor Tony Soprano will probably get a standing ovation if he is convicted and sharing the same jail cell as Rob Blagoiavich. They can be BFF’s

Disgraced ex-Port Authority official David Wildstein leveled explosive charges Friday that Christie knew about the punitive “Bridgegate” lane closings even as traffic backed up for miles at the world’s busiest span.

Wildstein attorney, Alan Zegas, in a three-page letter called Christie a liar and blamed “the Christie administration’s order” for creating the gridlock under the ruse of a traffic study.

“Evidence exists … tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed, contrary to what the governor stated publicly,” read the letter.

  6. So New Jersey is hosting the game and yet the events and financial benefits go to New York? Besides everything else Christie is completely incompetent. By the time he is thrown out he will leave New Jersey in a bigger financial hole than Christine Whitman.
