Nun gives birth but didn’t know she was PREGNANT!

A Salvadorean nun who said she had no idea she was pregnant gave birth in Italy this week after being rushed to the hospital because she felt stomach cramps, Italian media reported on Friday.

The 31-year-old Nun, who did not know she was pregnant, subsequently gave birth to a nine-pound baby boy.

The nun, who took a vow of chastity, was quoted as saying: “I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain,”

The boy has been named Francesco (Francis), the current Pope’s chosen title.

She belongs to the “Little Disciples of Jesus” convent near Rieti, which manages an old people’s home.

And although her fellow nuns are “very surprised”, she’s said to be keeping her baby.

  25. Somebody broke their vows 9 months ago. This is not the immaculate conception, that is old news. The report said she was 31, but the picture all over the NET looks twice that age. She was not quoted as saying she did not know how she could be pregnant, it said she did not know she was pregnant, which is very possible, it happens many times to women. There is a huge chunk missing, does she know who the father is? Did she have sex before she took her final vows? This is no miracle, this is a slip in judgment. Someone is going to spend quite a long time on their knees saying “Our Father’s” and “Hail Mary’s “.

  28. I left the church many many years ago. I just could not live up to what the church expected of me. Though I saw many who would sin on Saturday and go the church on Sunday to make sure everyone saw them. They could survive the church by lying. I could not. Could someone remind me where it says Jesus wanted all of his Priests and Nuns celibate? That to serve God, one couldn’t have a “fruitful” personal life? I think celibacy is to much to ask of a human.

  33. Number one, she isn’t supposed to be doing anything to get her pregnant and as the mother of two boys, I don’t know how you could not know when the baby is moving a lot from about five months on.
