First thing about animals, if they are not bothering you, don’t bother them. They will probably leave you and your critters alone. Get hostile with them and they will likely retaliate. Feral cats can get ferocious. On the other hand, most ferals I’ve seen keep a wide distance from humans. What went on here is a little out of the ordinary. More info needed.
