Woman giving out letters instead of candy to all the “fat kids” this Halloween

A woman in North Dakota, plans to give a sealed letter to any overweight children who ring her doorbell for “tricks or treats” today. She will then instruct the children to give the sealed letter to their parents.

In the letter, the woman plans to tell the parents that they are acting irresponsibly by sending their children out to seek candy when they are already overweight.

The letter, which was emailed to her local radio station, reads in part:

“You [sic] child is, in my opinion, moderately obese and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season.

My hope is that you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits.”

This woman who will only identify herself as Cheryl said “she just wants to send a message to the parents that their kids are really overweight and how it’s really irresponsible for parents to send them out looking for free candy just because all the other kids are doing it,”

  1. Kids don’t get fat overnight and sugar related illnesses can affect you at any weight. Giving ANY child a big bag of candy to consume without moderation is bad for every child, not just the fat ones.

  2. This woman clearly has too much time on her hands! SMDH 😡 She should have also checked the grammar on that idiotic “shade” that she is passing along as a cautionary “note” of concern.

  3. While obesity is a problem in this country, she is going about it the wrong way….and it is offensive and insulting. She doesn’t know their struggle with the kid’s weight, or if the child is on medication, or whatever the case may be. Candy isn’t good for anybody, but i wish someone would give me a note telling me about how fat my kid is. 😡

      1. For those going out: Have fun! But be careful. Remember to inspect the children’s candy for razor blades and such. And don’t let them eat open candy. Inspect the wrappers for signs of tampering

I’m attending a private Halloween party. Most of the costumes will be strippers.

  5. Christ dwelling Christians don’t celebrate Halloween because it
promotes the devil’s agenda. Words from the Lord’s prayer promote GOD.
Matthew 6:9 – KJV says about GOD, “…Hallowed be thy name.”

    1. CoSign @Rezzie,
I don’t celebrate this Shit either…my parents never celebrated this, didn’t buy us ridiculous costumes for school or anything…dad just bought a bag of candy if my youngest sister whined enough for it and we split it amongst all of us. We were taught what this Pagan holiday really is. That’s what she should tell the parents to do! Teach their kids REAL history behind this pagan bull!

  7. Instead of being a part of the problem, be part of the solution & hand out healthier alternatives to candy. There’s no need to put yourself in another family’s business. People are a real PIP I swear.

  8. Not all kids are big because of poor eating habits. So only the thin kids get to have candy? Smh. This is why I don’t celebrate halloween. People always find a way to ruin something that was meant to be fun. Ignorant azz!
