Eric Cantor, Politics, President Obama

While Congress PRETEND to be at Work!

The government shutdown continues!

GOP Majority Leader Eric Cantor posted the above photo on his Twitter.com account the other day. The photo shows House GOP members sitting across the table from a row of empty seats patiently awaiting Senate members.

“In divided government, the only way forward is to sit down at the table. The House awaits the Senate…” Cantor tweeted. The majority Democratic Senate members refused to show up for a conference to continue talks that could end the government shutdown. And in a failed meeting with President Obama yesterday, a median compromise still could not be reached.

In the meantime, President Obama is standing his ground that “he will not compromise to end the government shutdown” just to appease the republicans.

  6. Funny how all of them look alike… and we are to believe that we are post racial…….
And the MAIN people pitching a fit about Obama, welfare, taxes or healthcare may look like them but they surely do not have much in common with them outside of skin tone and penial attachments….

  8. This is the GOP trying to take blame off of them. They’ve tried over 40 times to repeal it with no effect. Now since they can’t get their way they shut the government down.
The Democrats should not bow to their terrorism because it will set a precedence of future negotiations.

  10. Talk about what? They are unwilling to do what needs to be done to move forward with ObamaCare as they call it so what’s to talk about?
They really expect the Dems to come sit across from them just to keep up the same old garbage? They do not have the right to strike down what the Prezzy Prez has put in place and ain’t nobody giving their azzes that right.
I’m so glad Hillary is going to be the next President if for no other reason than to keep screwing their useless, racist, disrespectful azzes.
