Beverly Hills cop peeked at Whitney Houston’s Dead body lawsuit claims

FILE

After Houston’s corpse was found in a hotel bathtub last year, a police sergeant pulled the sheet covering her naked body ‘below the pubic region’ and commented on her looks, ex-SWAT officer Brian Weir says in a lawsuit claim. Weir says he suffered professionally after he complained about the incident.

“Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?” the sergeant allegedly said after lifting a sheet covering Houston’s corpse.

The sergeant knelt beside Houston to remove the sheet “to an area below the pubic region,” and also said she “looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state,” the legal claim filed by ex-SWAT officer Brian Weir and obtained by the Los Angeles Times states.

Weir filed his claim for damages against the police department and the city alleging that he was retaliated against after he reported the misconduct.

He said the sergeant acted with reckless disregard for the integrity of the potential crime scene and should have known his behavior “would outrage ordinary family sensibilities.”

Weir said that after he complained to his superiors, he was removed from the city’s elite SWAT and K-9 units, denied promotions and training and relieved of supervisory duties.

And we all know that Whitney Houston was discovered face down in a bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 11, 2012.

    3. Olivijah,
Even if he did lift the sheet covering the body, he took no action to contaminate the body, as the lawsuit alleges. so I don’t see the big deal is my real point.

Well apparently it was a big deal for somebody because the guy was demoted and denied promotions because he complained.

So you’re saying if, heaven forbid, your mother or wife were to pass away, you’d be perfectly comfortable with the cops who responded to the “take a peek at their naked body”? GTFOHWTBS!

  2. This is crazy !!! a cop was getting his sick jollies off of looking at the private parts of lifeless female corpse.

How fucking gruesome. They’re called “pigs” for a reason and this is one of them.

  4. This was so wrong and worse he’s a policeman. This incident is wrong, icky, disgusting, and speaks to a lack of empathy in a police officer for the citizens he is sworn to protect and serve.

    Take that motherfuckers badge!

  5. Seeing the pic of her dead was just as gruesome as actually taking a peek at her naked body. I guess because Whit is a celebrity that fool couldn’t help it. Now I’m wondering if they robbed her too? Fucked up!

  6. If it had been a homicide instead of a suicide, the cop could have contaminated a crime scene. I think that’s the issue. Still was a gross and grave disrespect to her though.

  7. Yes, it was probably inappropriate to look at her body, but I suspect that virtually all people present saw it, so this is silly.

It sounds like the demoted officer is just looking for a ‘fast buck’ with a lawsuit JMO!

    1. Yeah well……there was an EMT who was in an ambulance when a woman died. He squeezed her breasts and made the “ah ooga” sound. He was fired. quick, fast and in a hurry. It’s insensitive, suppose it was a relative, love one or someone you know.

      This… I can’t stomach 😥

    2. When I worked as an EMT, it was common for the police to do this..He was being nosey and curious that’s all.

  8. People are human and curious. He may not have been the only cop or investigator on the scene that did this. It is not disrespectful in my opinion.

  9. This was an unprofessional way of not respecting the deceased. I’m sorry and anybody who says otherwise is just as sick and twisted.

  11. it’s not like he was selling pictures to the national inquirer or something and he was a detective so it was probably within the scope of his duties. i’m sure there were lot’s of people who saw her nude body. i think they found her in the bathtub. i don’t know about the rest of you but when i take a bath or shower i’m naked too.

  12. From reading the comments a lot of y’all missing the point. It wasn’t so much that he looked, it was his comments about her that the cop who is suing find/found inappropriate! Maybe he didn’t have to look but did it out of curiosity. Either way it was inappropriate!

  13. I think his curiosity was completely normal. His comment on seeing her body was not inappropriate, offensive, or lewd. Those of you without sin should feel free to cast the first stone.

  14. If this fellow was fired after telling the truth he should get about ten year’s salary. The investigation of his firing should be done by the office of the States Attorney General with a police advocate involved. This blue wall needs to be torn down.

  16. I see some of y’all find nothing wrong with what this dude did but the bigger issue is the comments he made which was both insensitive to the deceased as well as DISRESPECTFUL to her family.

Furthermore he looked at her like Whitney, not a subject affiliated with the situation. A professional wouldn’t have viewed her as a celebrity but just another corpse with a job that needs to be done. So yeah some of y’all missed the point of what was done and the message in this post. Smh 😦
