Based on the instructions they were given & the pamphlet that outlined the requirements to find Zimmerman guilty of 2nd degree murder or manslaughter she nor the other jurors based on that information could find him guilty although they felt he was, it was not against the law for Zimmerman to get out of his truck nor follow Trayvon, although it indicates intent it does not prove it. I would like to see what they were given & see if it in fact lines up with Florida law & the requirements necessary to find him guiltly.

The verdict really hurt my heart b/c sadly I feel that this will entice more violence and profiling of our Black man. Next time, it could be your son, brother, cousin, nephew, boyfriend, or father that “looks” suspicious and can be killed with no consequences.

He stated in the interview that he understands how Trayvon’s parents feel. And I said to myself, “How can he begin to understand what the Martins are going through?” His kinfolk is still alive.
Furthermore, he alluded that Trayvon brought about his own demise. On a final note, he also said that his brother was found innocent. That’s not true; he was found not guilty. Tracy I was moved when you said “believing in God is personal, you have to experience Him for yourself” this is true. So for those who denounce Him, I guess that’s because you have not experienced Him on a personal level.

Don’t argue.
He’s already afraid of you, so don’t do anything to enable him to claim that he feared for his life.

Don’t make any sudden moves.
Keep your hands in plain sight when getting your wallet.
If you’re pulled over while driving, keep your hands on the wheel.
If there is a bogus citation, deal with it in court. Better there than at the morgue.
I thought that instructing my sons on these principles was enough.

Most black parents believed that as long as our kids knew how to conduct themselves during contacts with police, they’d be safe.
The fact that death can now come from jittery private citizens, sanctioned by the judicial system is a terrifying proposition.

An Ohio firearms group has raised more than $12,000 to buy guns or a security system for George ZIMMERMAN, the former neighborhood watch volunteer who was recently acquitted of all charges in the fatal shooting of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin in Central Florida.
Ken Hanson, of the Buckeye Firearms Foundation, says the group sent Zimmerman a check for $12,150.37 Tuesday. He says the fundraising effort was launched because the group believes Zimmerman’s gun rights are being violated.
