President Obama Rocked Bangs @ White House Dinner

white28n-8-web

President Barack Obama joked that he was following Michelle Obama’s style to increase his popularity. This image was seen during the 2013 White House Correspondents Dinner.

President Obama knew all too well about all of the media outlets talking about him and poked fun at their comments all night. He first made reference to a controversy over a History Channel show featuring a devil-playing actor with an uncanny resemblance to the President.

“The History Channel is not here. I guess they were embarrassed about the whole Obama-is-a-devil thing,” he said.

Also in attendance for the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton were MSNBC personalities, Al Sharpton (looking like a shribbled up California raisin) and Chris Matthews.

Among some of the other bold-faced names in attendance were: singer Barbra Streisand, Korean  pop star Psy and Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.

  2. Obama: I’m busy planning where I’ll put my presidential library. Some have suggested putting it in the city of my birthplace, but I decided to keep it in the United States. LOL

“Maybe I have lost a step, but some things are beyond my control,” he said. “For example, this whole controversy about Jay-Z going to Cuba. It’s unbelievable. I got 99 problems, and now Jay-Z’s one.”

  6. President Obama has a great wit….he has perfect comedic timing, is able to laugh at himself and others. I love his little chuckle after he says a ‘funny’……I thought the bangs were hilarious…he can certainly laugh at himself, although his daughters will probably be rolling their eyes at em…

  7. I loved it almost as much as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2011 when President Obama repeatedly ripped Donald Trump, while the military was knocking on bin Laden’s door.

  9. This event should have been cancelled this year. Too many tragedies on our home front and too soon after Boston Marathon attack and Newton slaughter of teachers and students.

Poor taste to continue with a televised program showing the President and first lady laughing and joking about trivial events when compared to the sorrow of this past year.
