Bobbi Kristina, not happy with Cissy’s tell-all

Whitney Houston‘s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has slammed her grandmother’s tell-all book about her late mother and vowed never to read it.

Houston drowned in the bathtub of her Los Angeles hotel suite on the eve of the Grammy Awards last year, and her mother Cissy Houston has penned a book, Remembering Whitney, detailing her side of the story and her memories of the superstar.

But Bobbi Kristina, Houston’s only child from her marriage to RB singer Bobby Brown, has spoken out to publicly distance herself from her grandmother and urge fans not to purchase the book.

Now why do this publicly? Why communicate through the media? Bobbi Kristina’s actions further confirm that she had no real relationship with her grandmother. And just like Whitney distanced herself from her mother because she didn’t tolerate the drug abuse, that second generation curse is being relived by her daughter. It’s obvious Whitney didn’t teach her daughter to respect her grandmother. Even if you disagree with her, you never do it publicly.

In a series of scathing messages on her Twitter.com page, the reality Tv star has announced that she and her rumoured boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was informally adopted by Whitney, don’t support the book.

She writes, “Anything concerning my grandmother’s book, I and @nickgordon of course personally have nothing to do with… I haven’t read (it) and won’t… I find it to be disrespectful to my mother and me being her daughter won’t tolerate it (sic).”

This situation is a mess!!!! And the fact that it’s being hashed out publicly is tacky and dysfunctional.

  14. BK is naive! She only knew her mother for twenty years. What truth could she possible know. Parents rarely tell their children about their past.

    Cissy admitted the book is to clear up rumors about her daughter. She hasn’t read the book. So how does she know what is in the book? On the show her own uncle told her Cissy would never put anything in the book that would embarrass their family.

    She just aired the dirty laundry. Her discord for the book just made individuals want to go out and buy it now.

  21. Cissy is only telling what we the public have already seen for ourselves. No we weren’t there when Whitney was putting the pipe to her lips, but we saw what she was like after hitting it. Bobbi K needs to go to a rehab and detox, Pat and her husband are living it up on Whitney’s money because now that Whitney is gone what is there for Pat to do? Her husband doesn’t work and I would be surprised if this fried roach is somewhere right now smoking.

    Bobbi K never got the chance to be a child she always had to look out for her parents in some kind of way and she was always wanting some attention, so I think that now she is getting that attention but in a very bad way. People see her weakness and anyone can easily take advantage of that if they just pretend to cater to her. That’s how nick has been able to stay there and freeload for so long.

  28. I’m sorry but Bobbie Kristina knows what her mother was hooked on. She was there, and I can see her life going the same way. She’s denying it, but we seen it on TV when her mother talked in interviews. Her mother loved her so much that she let her see her on drugs.   38. I think BK maybe hurt or embarrassed that she see her mom as a Queen, and in her mind whatever story is in the book, may not be that of a Queen. She’s hurt. How would anyone feel if it were your mother, best friend’s struggles and drama was in a book? She knows it’s been public for years, but to have it in a book, where people can once again laugh, mock, judge and look down on her mother is hard. Everyone is judging BK, but did anyone ever think what she had to go through in school, in public? Did anyone ever think about what taunts her and the jokes WH had to face and BK witnessed that. No one knows why WH became an recluse. For all we know, she couldn’t take the stares, jeers of the public or the media. Try being BK and possibly having to turn the channel when MadTV came on, with their skits of Bobby and Whitney. We don’t know why BK feels the way she feels, what reality it was for BK and Whitney. It’s time for all involved to move on. I’m with BK, having lost a mother, things that are too painful to remember should be left in the past. better to forget than hate.
