The NY Daily News reports that the former Queen of talk, Oprah Winfrey has landed the first interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
According to the NY Daily News, the 18-year-old will share her “personal memories” of her mother and how she’d like her to be remembered. Oprah also sat down with Whitney’s most trusted confidants, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law, Pat. The interviews took place in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina once shared a townhouse with her mother.
Winfrey’s team also said the family addressed the “rumors and speculation” that have surfaced in the wake of Houston’s death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.
Houston was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammys.
The special will air on Oprah’s OWN cable network on March 11.

I hope Oprah doesn’t sugar-coat Whitney’s drug usage when she speaks to her brother Gary and his wife Pat – she should ask the tough questions and whether or not they both looked the other way while Whitney continued her drug use since she was paying the bills.
Gary used to be a background singer for Whitney back in the day and was once addicted to drugs himself – between the two of them it may have been the blind leading the blind.

It was a good interview, Bobby Brown may have been a good man, but not when it came to Whitney, perhaps her drug problem was something they could get under control before she met and married a full blown addict, thus her leisure drug use became something else. Bobby didnt introduce her to drugs, but he was instrumental in her becoming addict most women will follow their men to the gates of hell.

I don’t believe half of the stuff said in this interview. They sold the rights to the funeral, sold the pic of her in her coffin and now a paid interview not long after her death. I thought it was a good interview. I too was wondering why they were standing during Bobbi K’s portion but I’m sure she felt more comfortable doing it that way. I don’t think I would have been able to do an interview so soon. I was done at the end when Whitney’s brother broke down singing 😦

Even though it was an ok interview, I am not saying anything because the toxicology report is not back yet but why did people’s (Pat’s) schedule seem to change the day Whitney died? It never had before. That in itself is a bit suspicious to me.

It was a cool interview but I still feel as though there are a lot of unanswered questions, I don’t like when I have to read between the lines to get the truth the real truth will come out eventually.

I’m wondering why…with all those leeches that Whitney was footing the bill for…why NOBODY was with her when she died??? That many loafers on the payroll, yet NOBODY realized Whitney was spendin a little too long in the bathroom???? Just sickening.

That’s just it!!! I don’t believe Whitney was really found in the bathroom, something else really happened, we just don’t know what that is. They said she didn’t have enuff water in her lungs to have drowned. that’s the catch right there.

The fact that Bobby Brown got cleaned up and restarted his career and has a new family, speaks volumes. He has a wonderful relationship with his four other children. Whtiney was on drugs when Bobby married her and she was on drugs when she divorced him. So for the life of me I don’t know why BB would get the blame for her drug usage. They were both willing partners. All of this “he spit on her” nonsense is just that..nonsense.
