Preliminary results show anti anxiety drugs in Whitney’s system

Preliminary blood test results revealed the presence of benzodiazepines in singer Whitney Houston’s system after she died, according to Radar Online. The benzodiazepines found in Whitney’s system — Xanax, Ativan, and Valium — are sedatives prescribed for high anxiety and stress disorders associated with depression. Some benzodiazepines are highly addictive.

Houston, 48, was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her luxury suite at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at 6:55 p.m. EST.

A law enforcement insider told RadarOnline.com: “The final toxicology results will reveal the specific sedative(s) that she ingested, and the level. Those final toxicology results should be in later this week.”

The law enforcement source also corrected a fallacy that is commonly quoted to the media by coroners — that toxicology test results take 4-6 weeks to come back.

“Toxicology testing and results don’t take 4-6 weeks to come back. Look at how quickly toxicology screening tests are done in hospital emergency rooms when someone comes in with an overdose. The Coroner and the Beverly Hills Police Department have placed a security hold on the case, so it will be a few weeks before the results are revealed publicly.”

    1. That did sound odd to me when I heard tyler perry rushed to LA and was offering up his private jet and everything else…..They could have been friends who knows…Still gave me an odd feeling.

      It kills me that the amount of money Whitney made in her lifespan se didn’t have her own private jet???
      But in the Bible not good on verses) If you do a GOOD DEED DO IT IN PRIVATE NOT FOR PUBLICITY. Me I cant stand Tyler Perry and can see people flocking to his movie because he helped Whitney get home. Funeral Homes do Fly cross-country to pick your azz up. Why couldnt he have done this in private? Because he has a movie coming out and church folks mad bc Kim K in his movie, so to save face in the community, he had to put his name in this horrific tragedy. On that being said, I dont own a Madea Movie or anything that had touched his hands. In other words my money does not pay for jet fuel. I will not be at his next movie/plays or watch his tv shows.

      Olivijah: God didn’t take Whitney He allowed the devil too…only He knows what goes on in the dark that he will bring to light…when you profess God depend on him for everything and if Whitney truly knew Jesus loved her, than He wanted her to depend on Him for sobriety and not those pills God ain’t playin with people, so when he speaks He will draw all men unto him.

      I’m a huge WH fan and lord knows I’m hurt but God is good and He knew that he gave Whitney a good and perfect gift., and she did what she did with it.

I am so over the drug reports , I think its sad, how they are doing her and any other celebrity for that matter with substance abuse, heck we all battle some form of addiction, the difference we do it in private. I am praying for Bobby and the entire family too, cause regardless that man loved Whitney.

      Really, if Whitney left no instructions in case of her death, only her mothers wishes matter. She should have buried her whereever SHE wants to. When was Whitney even in New Jersey last? I can see the family coming out of the woodwork now to make a buck off this.

      1st of all how would you know where Whitney was the happiest? Did you know her? She was born and raised in NJ, her momma and brothers live in NJ so I can see why her mother would have her funeral and burial IN NJ..At the end of the day, Whitney’s mother is in charge why? because Whitney had no spouse and for all we know her mother might be her P.O.A.

      “ATLANTA IS THE BETTER CHOICE” –>REALLY by who’s standard? you’re entitled to your opinion YES but don’t try and downplay NJ.
