Did Jim Jones Propose Or Just Give Chrissy A Ring?

I’m confused…..How many of you saw last nights episode of Love & HipHop when Jim called Chrissy out of the restaurant and gave her a ring? Did he even ask her to marry him? Did he even get down on one knee? Looks to me like he just handed her a ring.

Oh I have so many questions…..Why was his “giving her the ring” not an open display of love and excitement? Why were Chrissy’ friends and family not included in on this “ring giving” by Jim? I got the impression that this was a “here you go ring, now shut the hell up”.

Then Chrissy had to ask Jim to put the ring on her finger! I watched in awe like, wow, she’s so desperate for a ring that she accepted his whacked ass initiation of it. I can’t even say he proposed to her. It was like she broke him down and forced him into a choice.

Side note ladies: never force a man to marry you based upon ultimatums and pressure., it’ll never work. The man finds the wife, the man knows when he wants to get married and makes that decision sincerely. Marriage should never be forced. Now let’s see if they’ll actually get to the altar and if Jim will actually set a date?

  2. Congrats to Chrissy and Jimmy on their 2nd engagement. I don’t know why Chrissy was so pressed to get a ring when she already proposed to Jimmy. They were already engaged. She should have been worrying about planning a wedding not gettin a ring.

  11. I think that she was ready to marry the man she loves. She didn’t want to be in the same position forever. She had the guts to say it and make moves toward it instead of just stringing along in the relationship. She had enough with just the gifts. She wanted to be married., she wanted more.

  14. Once again I agree with Blog Queen, I do not think you should pressure a man to do anything as the results in this situation and many others are sadly obvious. Her behind needs to get a J_O_B and pay for her own materialistic lifestyle. Poor Jimmy is in awe of her head game I guess, but then again some men are attracted to overzealous women.

      8. Someone said in a post above that Chrissy’s ring is prettier than Savannah..looking at pictures over the years you can tell Savannah is more classic and laid back kind of chick, whereas Chrissy is more over the top type of chic so their rings speaks their personality just right.
        Watching this show over the past two seasons you can tell Jim doesn’t have male figures in his life. If I am not mistaken Chrissy acknowledged that on last week’s episode. I do believe he needed the confirmation from his mother. I think her uncle did speak with him outside of the cameras about marriage and that is what helped him jumped in.. Being with my husband for 3 years before marriage helped him proposed to me because his parents are still together after 40 years and he wasn’t afraid of love, but at the same time knew what it takes to have a marriage..Jim did the best he could without getting down on his knees but asking her for marriage..I thought it was sweet and well done for their relationship. I will never hate anyone for their proposal method. Their is no legal handbook for marriage so with that said Congratulations to Jim and Chrissy..

He saw he in VIP somewhere in Miame which tells you she wasn’t running in unknown circles. Jim loves Chrissy the way she is and was! LOL!

      But trying to get this girls business for many, many moons ago all exposed at this point in the game is just wrong.

    I don’t think Chrissy manipulated Jim into oroposing to her. She knows what type of man she is dealing with and knew what needed to be done to make him realize the time was near.

  27. I was all for Chrissy until I heard she had been tricking since she was 15, slept with Jay Z at 23, and was involved with 3 Nicks players, not to mention Rich Porter (rip). Word is, she took money over 32,000 from a big timer when she flew to Miami to go on a shopping spree with her credit card popping homies, and that’s where she met Jimmy and they offically started dating.

I want a man who WANTS to MARRY me w/o prompting/nagging/begging etc. A man knows who he wants to put a ring on and make his wife. I do not have 7 yrs to give any man at this point in life.

      I’m 50/50 with you; normally when a man loves a woman and HE feels that he is ready to wife her, he will do it in his own time and when most men are badgered the way Jimmy was, it makes them more hesitant because they feel like they are being strong-armed into something and that is just what Chrissy did with the aunt and uncle, Jim’s mom and her habitual bitching and moaning about a ring, a ring, a ring. If a man is just that into you then you won’t feel like you have to wait forever and give him ultimatums and such.

      I know it was said that she has been with Jim for 7 years but I don’t know if they have lived together that long. If you live with a man then there is a chance there won’t be a marriage because the female is giving him all of the benefit or marriage and NONE of the responsibility that goes with it. Chrissy made herself too available and gave Jimmy nothing to ‘work’ for.

      You do have to let men know how you feel, but not to the point that every other word out of your mouth is ‘ring’ and he buys you one just so that he can have peace and quiet. I realize that most men don’t mind Chrissy’s type of thinking but it is just my opinion.

He didn’t even propose properly, and yes there is a proper way, one that does not include him looking like a part of him died as well as having ur new “fiancé” ask for you to place the ring on her finger.
