During a recent interview with FOX News Host Great Van Susteran, Donald Trump discussed President Barack Obama’s vacation plans.

Well, the fact is, he takes more vacations than any human being I’ve ever seen. They used to complain about George Bush, but I understand he’s already exceeded George Bush and we’re not even through the year. So he likes vacation.

it sends a bad message. Here we have a country that really is going to hell in a handbasket. Let’s not kid ourselves. What’s happening to this country is horrible. All over the world, they’re talking about it. And we have a president that’s constantly — whether it’s Martha’s Vineyard or someplace else, constantly on vacation. I mean, all the time he’s on vacation! So I think it sends a very, very bad message. We have to work in this country to bring it back.

Next week Obama and his family will make their annual trip to Martha’s Vineyard for a 10-day vacation — against the advice of Democratic leaders.

In your opinion, does the Obamas’ refusal to cancel their Martha’s Vineyard vacation despite the economic turmoil and declining jobless rate send a clear message to voters in next year’s elections?

  6. donald trump, who left the TAXPAYERS footing his bills, has the nerve to talk about our president? when asked about his thoughts on his bankruptcies, he indicated that he was just “using the laws that were already in place” so he should be given a pass. If the prez, is just using the vacation time that’s already in place for a president, then so be it.

  13. It doesn’t matter who took the most vacations my primary concern is when will our economy be alive and vibrant again?. Many people are homeless and jobless. Our country almost went into default as americans we all should be taking a look at what we can do to assist in contributing to stimulating our economy. Americans are apathatic to what is currently going on.

So his vacation time should not be compared to that of the average Joe who works at a call center and only gets 1 or 2 weeks. Also, 1st Lady Obama was not elected to do anything.   32. A vacation for Obama is not the same as a vacation for you and I. He still has to be briefed everyday, stay on top of things, respond to this mess we in. One picture does not constitute him basking in the sun everyday. If anyone deserves a vacation, it is the POTUS. I don’t care if you are a Republican or Democrat, the job of POTUS is a tough job. I’m almost 90% sure that if he WASN’T doing anything with his children because he’s “too busy” (putting this ungreatful country first), then he would be a deadbeat, or he neglects his family.   43. I agree Obama should take everyday he can take for vacation. I have 6 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of sick time and I take every day to utilize all my time because it doesn’t roll over. If I was disrespected on my job as musch as he has been because people don’t realize the credit crunch is not his fauilt this goes back to Clinton days when he never fxed anything and the Bush era when he never fixed things. You would see me enjoying myself with the ones who truly love and understand me. It saddens me how disrespected he is daily and every new law he has put in place is what the people has been asking for. But yet the people are scared of a revolution because they have yet to stand up and defend themselves because it may mess up their benefits!
