“IS OSAMA BIN LADEN REALLY DEAD?”

In what is being called the biggest news since September 11, and a turning point in the global war on terrorism, U.S. President Barack Obama announced that the mastermind behind 9/11, Osama Bin Laden, is dead.

According to multiple news organizations, the United States has the dead body of Osama Bin Laden in its custody. CNN reports that the U.S. had a sample of Bin Laden’s DNA on ice for just this pivotal moment in history. But despite this big news, some people who I’ve spoken too, don’t believe it’s true.

Some reporters knew about this critical development all day, but media organizations kept the news under wraps until the body was positively identified.

American forces are expected to release a picture of Osama Bin Laden’s dead body so that the Arab world has no doubt that the leader of Al Qaeda is really dead.

        And yes the troops may have been the ones to actually kill the bastard but Obama gave the order. If the mission(s) had failed, the president would be getting the blame so why shouldn’t he get the credit when it succeeded?

    A man that has been targeted for over 10 yrs, was killed near Islamabad (Pakistan capital), in a mansion. And there were no US causalities. And this took place over a week ago. Okay….

        I think the celebration is more about serving justice to the many people affected by 9/11. The people who lost mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, wives, & husbands have closure.

        As far as Obama’s re-election, he had naysayers in 2008. People thought he didn’t have a chance then and he won by a landslide. So you never know. I won’t just rule him out because technically he doesn’t have an opponent yet.

        Have any Republicans oficially stepped up and said they were going to run? Nope. They have “potential” candidtates but nothing definite.

        I can’t say he won’t win if he doesn’t even have anyone competing with him. And if their candidtates consist of the like of Donald Trump that isn’t saying much in my book.

        I’m not a person who will just automatically vote for him but where are my options? I don’t have any.

    I think the time was just right to get rid of him. They disposed of the body in “proper Muslim fashion” so as not to give other Muslim nut cases a reason to go off.

    It was a no-win situation from the beginning for Obama and the U.S. There is no trust there and no matter what happened he was either going to come off looking like a murderer (to those against America) or as passive (to Americans that wanted him dead).

    But at least the fool is dead.
