“I Like Braxton Family Values, But Tamar Too Much”

The reality television show about Grammy award-winning singer Toni Braxton and her sisters, Traci, Trina, Towanda and Tamar is a good show but that Tamar; is over the top.com.

I’ve read that Tamar used to be a notorious groupie and back up singer for Toni back in the day! And that she has been around the block with numerous players and entertainers.

If you watch the show, you know that Tamar is married to Toni’s manager, Vincent Herbert, a music producer, who also produces wild ass Lady Gaga and other well-known entertainers.

Tamar and Vincent are like night and day, which is a clear indication that she’s with him for the money.

The way Tamar brags and talk about money and her many houses are a total turn-off and extremely tacky to me. It’s like she’s not use to material things. I was so comforted when I watched a recent show, and Tamar wanted to buy Vince a pair of 15 thousand dollar shades and he told her “it was a waste of money”. He shut down her ignorance and her need to show off.

Tamar apparently had a bunch of plastic surgery along with bleaching her skin because this was her a little back in the day.

Tamar is supposedly the brains behind this reality show but Toni wasn’t interested in being apart of it. Tamar knew the only way to get the publicity she needed for the show, was to have the real star, Toni Braxton on board.

I love me some Toni Braxton. She reminds me so much of me. 🙂 She’s humble, secure and so laid back., because of her I’m going to try to stay tuned but Tamar’s arrogance is turning me off!

  14. I loved the first episode. They ALL look like different versions of Toni Braxton! (If that makes any sense) Tamar is a hot mess, Trina is funny, the tall one acts like the oldest, and sister that no longer performs is going to get a huge blessing, once she begins taking steps towards her goals. It’s a really good show.

    Momma Braxton look great for having all those kids 6, she looks like one of their sisters. Can’t wait til Daddy Braxton shows up, Rev was cheating with a woman in his church, momma B gonna bring that up!!!!!!!

    Also if Toni is broke where are the cars and the large home from? I am certain none of the other siblings are making that type of money Toni use to make.

  28. I didnt know tamar was married. and tamar just showed the whole world that she is the dumb sister.. why is the oldest sister wearing pigtails still (this was the one who was on the sitcom back in the day when she was trying to get herself together)… she was also arrested.

    They can have a show on getting them pigtail braids out of her hair… . Toni went through more managers than people go through pairs of underwear… she doesnt need new managers she needs to change her money management. and toni if you didnt want to be put in the middle of their marriage you shouldnt have introduced them (sister and now brother in law) I dont know about this show.

I realize one of the main reasons the family is doing this show is to help Toni pay the millions of dollars she owes to damn near everyone, but I hope the sisters and the momma at least get enough to pay the mortgage and put food on the table because helpin out family is all good, but at some point you gotta ask yourself “what the hell am I gettin outta this venture?”

  38. Tamar was on Tiny and Toya. She was Tiny’s friend who was being kept by her husband and he wouldn’t let her sing! She had bad lacefronts then and looked darker. Now she is all loud and over the top!!!

  44. Quite frankly, Tamar is busted and disgusting. Too much plastic surgery makes her physically unattractive and her manner of speaking (combined with her bad attitude, snobby demeanor…blah blah blah)-all complete the perfect picture of ugliness 🙂

    If the Braxton family wanted to be smart about it, they’d let Tamar’s appearances on the show run their course for this first season and begin contemplating “fall back” options. Her “in your face” attitude has a shelf life and its expiration date is reading “Season 2″…so if the rest of the Braxtons want to get paid, they should honestly consider limiting her appearances.

    Quite frankly, I’m surprised that their not embarrassed by her. She personifies trash on the screen-but in her defense, she “may” not actually behave that way around people who actually know her….but again with the honesty-after experiencing her antics on the tv show, would anyone who doesn’t know her now actually WANT to know her based on her tv show persona?….doubtful….unless they’re just as pathetically thirsty for celebrity status as she is 🙂

  45. I love this show. If people can watch those Kardashian hoes we can support our own. I love this show because they are real. They have real problems, well everyone except Tamar who is a spoiled brat. I love her and hate her at the same time. She makes me laugh (I’m so over this.org) and she told her sisters husband off which is great. She’s loyal to her family and actually cried when she found out Toni was ill so she has feelings but then she will piss you off bragging and acting like the world owes her something. I think I wouldn’t by her CD out of spite so she won’t make money. I love Toni to death after seeing her on this show. I’m looking forward to season 2.

I wanted to stop watching because of her attitude, but I couldn’t because Im drawn in by the rest of the sisters and Ms. E. Tamar is a spoiled brat but I dont think she makes black people look bad. I think she makesTamar, and Tamar alone, look bad. I think the rest of the sisters are all gorgeous. I don’t know why people think Towanda is the least attractive. I think she’s just as pretty as the rest of them. I’d kill to have her body. She has the best looking body of all of them. This is what these women are doing for a living. This is their job right now. When you go to work, you do what you have to do to get your pay check and you make a hell of a lot less than they’re making. I bet you also work longer and harder than they are working.   49. One last thing…When celebrities say they are bankrupt or broke, that is not equivalent to you or I being broke. When we say we are broke…we mean we only have enough money to get us throught the rest of the week or maybe until payday. When a celebrity says he or she is broke, they mean they are down to their last 3 or 4 million and they can not afford to pay the millions of dollars in debt they may have. We mean our car might get repossessed the cell phone might get turned off or you may have to make payment arrangments with the utility company. It’s not that serious for celebriities. With our lifestyles, We could live a lifetime on the money celebrities have left when they say they are broke. Look at how MC Hammer is living. Look at Toni Braxton’s house and car. Does that look like the same “broke” you know?
