“Man And Woman Stoned To Death For Having An Affair”

A man and a woman who allegedly committed adultery, were stoned to death in a village controlled by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The barbaric act is the latest in a string of archaic sentences handed down by the Taliban, which practices a strict adherence to Islamic law.

The couple, both in their 20s, had their hands tied behind their backs and stood in a field; as several people among 100 local villagers threw rocks at them until they died.

The man, 28, was married, while the woman, 23, was engaged. The couple allegedly confessed to having had an affair with one another.

Wow! I guess all of the adulterers in the United States should be lucky that this isn’t the law of this land. Even a stoning by “tongue lashing” is less painful I’m sure.

  1. This is a heinous crime, but we can’t assume every Muslim is “not even worthy of being called an animal” based on the actions of an extreme group of people.

  2. Maybe Muslims have the right idea about stoning those who cheat. Fantasia and Twan would be on the choppin board right about now if this was a law in the US.

  5. Hopefully when the Mosque is built near the WTC we’ll see adultery rates go down. They can carry out sentences locally.

  10. They probably tortured them in such a horrible way that they confessed to anything they’re accused of. How about that??

  11. In the bible, couples are stoned to death for committing adultery.

In the qu ran, couples are stoned to death for committing adultery.

In afghanistan, couples are stoned to death for adultery.

This isn’t a “perversion” “extremist” or “hijacking” of a religion. This is pure religion.

  12. Read the Bible, you know the book that God wrote personally, the book that should be read literally. It specifies who should be stoned. Christians in this country pretend like those verses don’t exist. They do exist, and they recommend stoning people for sexual acts. google Leviticus.

    1. people love to commit the sin, but can’t take the consequences. they don’t understand God or His Word and Commandments. they just want to do what makes them feel good. isn’t it easier just to not do the wrongdoing?

  17. Barbarians. Anyone living in the 21st century who stones people to death — for any reason at all — is a barbarian, incapable of empathy, sympathy, or decency. realtalk.

  18. Hmmm where would they get a crazy idea like that?

Deuteronomy 22:22 “If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die.”

Leviticus 20:10 “If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife–with the wife of his neighbor–both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.”

Proverbs 6:32 “But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself.”

    1. it’s amazing that people are more outraged by the punishment, than by the fact that these two admitted to committing adultery.

  19. I like the Proverbs quote. Orgasms are also known as “the little death”.

So whomever’s judgment is decided by the “little head”, destroys himself.

The Bible’s text often meant something completely different than the way it’s meaning is taken today.

  24. Yeah, Okay. Stoning a young couple to death without a trial is exactly like American due process.I’m against the death penalty, but to compare this to the American process is ridiculous.

  26. Uh God never said anything.

People say he said those things. But God NEVER said to stone anyone.

There is no historical proof that God has actually ever spoken to anyone.

And strangely enough, if anyone says God is speaking to them now, we put them in mental hospitals.

    Tell you anything.

Men said and wrote those things.

When God comes down from the heavens and says she said those things. I’ll change my belief, but otherwise God has never spoken to anyone.
